The Guamani School curriculum offers a college preparatory program.

ADMISSION
Guamani utilizes the SRA Reading and Math achievement test for admission to grades 2 through 11. Applicant should score at least a 50 percentile in both tests in order to be considered for admission.
Graduation Requirements:
24 credits are required for graduation.

  • 4 credits Math (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, an elective)

Senior Class:
The average size of Guamani School's senior class is 50 students in two groups. All students seek admission to colleges and universities. On the average 50% of the senior class attend colleges in the United States and the other 50% seek entrance to colleges in Puerto Rico.
Location:
Located in Guayama, a village with a population of 45,000 people in southeast of Puerto Rico surrounded by beaches and mountains. Road 3 Km. 135.6 Ave. Los Veteranos.

Campus

1.8 acres, 3 buildings, facilities include two science lab used for biology, chemistry and physics, 32 classrooms, music room, 2 computer labs, covered basketball/volleyball courts and cafeteria.
Library:
The Library includes over 5,000 books, Pro Quest Reference Data Base, Follett’s Computerized Cataloging system and a variety of visual aids for the audio-visual center. Complete internet access with electronic library.

Faculty & Staff

Our staff of 45 professional educators has received undergraduate training at different colleges and universities in Puerto Rico and the United States. 100% are certified personal in teaching, counseling and administration. 18% of the faculty and staff members have completed or are currently working towards advanced degrees and 26% are recruited teachers from the mainland.
